Expert Lactation Support in Montgomery County, PA

"If breastfeeding is supposed to be natural, why does it feel so hard?"

You are NOT alone if you’re wondering this.

Yes, breastfeeding is natural, but it is also a SKILL you and your baby are learning together.

And like any skill, it takes practice, patience, and often, the right support.

But here’s the thing…

  • Your doctor may not have much training in lactation.
  • The information you’ve Googled might be contradictory.
  • The advice from well-meaning friends doesn’t always match your reality.
  • And the myth that “you’ll figure it out” can leave you feeling isolated when you’re struggling.

Your challenges are valid.

Your questions deserve answers.

You deserve someone in your corner who will listen to your experience, honor your goals, and work with you to find solutions that actually fit your family.

That’s exactly what I am here for.

Hi, I’m Amanda Bartolomucci.

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

Eleven years ago, as a first-time mom with no family close by, I learned something crucial: breastfeeding is natural, but it’s rarely easy.

After weeks of struggling with my newborn and the lactation consultant who became my lifeline, I knew this was my calling.

Now, as an IBCLC and science-loving mom of three, I get to be that person for you.

The one who shows up with compassion, curiosity, and zero judgment.

For in-home visits:

Choose a quiet, comfortable space where we can sit with baby with your usual feeding items. Try to time baby’s feeding so they're ready to eat shortly after I arrive. Pets are welcome but please have them secured if they tend to be excitable around guests.
